The Aniplex Online Fest 2022 event announced a sequel for a popular anime series “Rascol Does Not Dream Of Bunny Girl Senpai” on Saturday. The main cast, staff, and a promotional video were also revealed during the event. The official release date has not been announced yet nor that it will be a movie or a whole season. But let’s just hope that it will be as good as the first season.
The first season covered the first five volumes of the light novel, while the movie covered the sixth and seventh volumes. This anime project will cover the Eighth and Ninth volumes titled Seishun Buta Yarou wa Odekake Sister no Yume Wo Minai (Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out) and Seishun Buta Yarou Wa Randoseru Girl no Yume Wo Minai (Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid).

It is not announced whether the sequel will be a movie or another season. But considering there are only two volumes to cover it will be a movie.
The Rascal Does Not Dream Of Bunny Girl Senpai Season 2 OP (opening) and ED (ending) theme song music hasn’t been announced yet.
For the first season, the Rascal Does Not Dream Of Bunny Girl Senpai OP “Kimi no Sei” was performed by the peggies. The ED “Fukashigi no Carte” was the same song for the entire season, but the voice actors singing it changed for certain episodes.
Synopsis of Eighth Volume
After a draining December, Sakuta is quickly nearing the end of his second year of high school.
Since Mai is her senior, they don’t have much time together. Meanwhile, Sakuta’s sister, Kaede slowly started to venture outdoors again. Kaede became more confident and announced her ambitious goal to her brother, that she wants to attend his brother’s high school. Sakuta knows that it is will be difficult for Kaede but he is ready to support Kaede however he can. He is not sure if that’s what’s best for her or does she really wants this.
Synopsis of Ninth Volume
Mai’s high school graduation day has arrived. While Sakuta waits for his girlfriend, an elementary student who looks precisely like Sakurajima Mai appears before him. Meanwhile, Sakuta’s father suddenly calls them. Sakuta’s father said that his mother wants to see Kaede.
She was hospitalized because Kaede’s condition had been too much for her to bear, so what could she possibly want now?
